Die Bergiselschanze ist eine Skisprungschanze auf dem Bergisel in Innsbruck, Österreich.
Erste Skisprungbewerbe gab es schon in den 1920er Jahren. Die ersten Schanzen waren allerdings nicht mehr als bescheidene Holzkonstruktionen. 1930 wurde die erste größere Sprungschanze errichtet, der zu den Olympischen Winterspielen 1964 eine große Schanze folgen sollte.
Die Schanze ist vor allem durch das Skispringen bei der Vierschanzentournee weithin als Veranstaltungsort sportlicher Wettkämpfe bekannt. 1999 kamen bei dem Snowboard-Wettbewerb Air & Style fünf Menschen ums Leben. Daher erfolgte eine notwendige Sanierung und Modernisierung.
Endgültig fertiggestellt wurde die Sprungschanze 2003, geplant wurde sie von der irakisch/britischen Architektin Zaha Hadid. Im Januar 2003 wurde erstmals ein Skispringen im Rahmen der Vierschanzentournee auf der teilweise fertiggestellten Sprungschanze durchgeführt, das Springen im Januar 2004 fand bereits auf der kompletten Sprunganlage statt. Nach der witterungsbedingten Absage des Springens am 3./4. Januar 2008 wurde die Anlage für das Springen 2009 mit einem Windnetz aufgerüstet.
Der Turm beherbergt ein Aussichtsrestaurant und eine Aussichtsplattform, die (außer bei Sportveranstaltungen) gegen Eintritt zugänglich und mit einem Schrägaufzug erschlossen sind.

The Bergisel is a ski jump on the Bergisel in Innsbruck, Austria.
First ski competitions were already in the 1920s. The first jumps, however, were no more than modest wood constructions. In 1930 the first major ski jump was built, which should follow the Winter Olympics 1964, a large jump.
The jump is primarily due to the ski jumping at the Four Hills Tournament, widely known as the venue of sports events. 1999 at the Air & Style snowboard contest five people were killed. Therefore was a necessary renovation and modernization.
The ski jump was finally completed in 2003, it was planned by the Iraqi / British architect Zaha Hadid. In January 2003, the first time a leg of the Four Hills Tournament was conducted on the partially completed jump, the jump in January 2004 has already taken place on the complete diving facility. After the weather-related cancellation of jumping on 3 / 4 January 2008 the plant was upgraded in 2009 for jumping with wind power.
The tower houses a panoramic restaurant and an observation deck, which are accessible by users (except during sporting events) compared with a forward entry and elevator.
