The Artists Paintpots trail begins from a large parking area on the Grand Loop Road about 4 miles south of Norris Junction. The trail is about 1 mile long roundtrip and involves dirt and boardwalk segments. Once the trail reaches the thermal area, a board loops through the thermal features including several mudpots
