This is one of a series of murals around the Lancashire fishing village of Poulton le Sands around which the town of Morecambe has grown. They reflect the history and culture of Poulton.

This fisherman stands close to the mural of the clocktower and is located in what the locals refer to as Fisherman's Square.

Like all of the murals in this series, it is made using a coloured render rather than paint. This should ensure that it lasts a long time.

The original design for this mural was by Graham Lowe.
