During the Second World War, Great Britain got involved in Albania, and several men from Special Operations served here, helping organizing the resistance against Italian and German occupation armies. Some of them eventually perished. Some RAF airmen also died while operating over Albania. In this small cemetery there are about 40 tombs of these men. Ironically, about 30 meters far, there is a monument to the Germans who died in Albania during the War.
