The CONCERT HALL , Front St. near Schiller St., was built in 1887. It is an elaborate, three-story brick building with a long second-story cast-iron balcony; the gable end of its roof faces the street. - Missouri: A Guide to the "Show Me" State, Tour 4, pg 394.
When built the Concert Hall had a restaurant and tavern on the first floor and the concert hall on the second. The saloon was the largest west of St. Louis. The concert hall became the community center with concerts, dramas and receptions. The first floor is now a bar and restaurant.
The building is a contributing building in the Hermann Historic District on the National Register of Historic Places.
