Clock mounted in the facade of the Gare de Montparnasse, one of the six large terminus train stations of Paris.
The station was opened in 1840, and rebuilt completely in 1969.
An extension was built in 1990 to host the TGV Atlantique. The station serves both short and long distance trains.
Two large clocks are mounted in the main facade, one on each side of the station. The clocks are very simple. Just the pointers and 12 circles each one marking one hour placed on the wall.
This clock is placed on the right side when looking at the station main facade.
