There are various sized huts in tiers lining the sandbank with sandy beach on either side. The River Stour enters Christchurch Harbour on the northern side whilst The Solent is on the southern side. There are showers, toilets and a small shop/cafe located within this busy community who enjoy the summer weather.

Many of the huts are rented out by their respective owners.
