The natural monument Vrškámen (alias Certuv kámen (the Devil’s stone)) is located among fields southeast of Petrovice. Since 1977 declared a protected territory. This protected area, with a surface area of 0.0863 ha - one of the smallest in Central Bohemia - boasts the region’s largest free-standing boulder, which is 3.5 × 5.5 × 3.2 metres in size.
