St. Ambroise Beach Provincial Park is on the shores of Lake Manitoba at the end of Highway 430 near St Ambroise, Manitoba.
The stamp is a piping plover. These birds are endangered but do nest in the park.
Spring is an ideal time for bird-watching in the park with many birds using this area as a stopover on their way north.
Besides birdwatching, the park offers swimming, picnicking, camping and hiking.
If the campground office is closed, you can send a photo of yourself in front of a sign or distinctive landmark along with your passport to: Head of Interpretation, Parks and Natural Areas, 200 Saulteaux Crescent, Winnipeg MB R3J 3W3. They will stamp your passport.
2011 is the third year in a row that Park vehicle permits are not required in Manitoba's Provincial Parks.
