Camp Morton Provincial Park is east of Hwy 222 about 8 km. (5 mi.) north of Gimli.
Camp Morton began in 1920 as a summer camp Roman Catholic children. That camp operated until the late 1960s when a decline led to its closure. In 1974, Camp Morton and adjacent lands were designated a provincial recreation park.
Besides the campground, 14 Family Vacation Cabin units and 6 Yurts are available for rental.

If the campground office is closed, you can send a photo of yourself in front of a sign or distinctive landmark along with your passport to: Head of Interpretation, Parks and Natural Areas, 200 Saulteaux Crescent, Winnipeg MB R3J 3W3. They will stamp your passport.

2011 is the third year in a row that Park vehicle permits are not required in Manitoba's Provincial Parks.

You can pick up a free passport at the campground office, if you need one. There are 24 parks that listed in the Manitoba Provincial Parks - Passport to Adventure (visit link)
