This is a Canadian-built version of the Bristol Blenheim medium bomber. This aircraft was rebuilt and is on display outside the Comfort Inn. A second Bolingbroke (IV 9059) is preserved at the CATP Museum at Brandon airport.

Bristol Bolingbroke Mk. IV
This Bristol Bolingbroke Mk. IV is representative of the many aircraft used in training and operations during World War II.
Bolingbroke 9944 carries the registration number of one that crashed 12 miles north of the aerodrome at Paulson, Manitoba on July 7, 1943. Killed in the crash were Warrant Officer R.D. Mathers (RCAF), Leading Aircraftman P.A. Trudel (RCAF) and Leading Aircraftman N.M. Glenday (RNZAF)
Bolingbroke 9944 was rebuilt by the Commonwealth Air Training Plan Museum with the assistance from the Manitoba Department of Culture, Heritage and Citizenship. It is preserved in memory of the Canadians, British, Australian, New Zealanders, Americans and others who gave their lives while training in Canada during World War II.
