There are many penny smasher machines in the Niagara Falls area. This one is the bright yellow one that you can find when you walk in the main entrance of the Table Rock Complex.

The machine takes 4 quarters/25¢ and you must supply the penny/1¢.
I didn't realize it was illegal to destroy Canadian coins. I smashed a shiny Canadian penny - and it was the Queen's side that got the design. I tried four different penny smashers when I was in Niagara Falls, two of them supplied the penny and both were American pennies - now I know why.
