The East Longmeadow Rotary Club placed a time capsule in Heritage Park.

This is the older of two time capsules located in the Town of East Longmeadow. It is located in Heritage Park, near the center of town and west of the lake known as Blackmon's Pond. In a shady area, a red sandstone block sits on top of a concrete slab. It was placed buy the East Longmeadow Rotary Club in the bicentennial year of 1976 and is due to be opened fifty years later in 2026. The sandstone block is inscribed:
