A time capsule has been placed on lawn of the Chicopee City Hall. It is set in concrete, marked with an inscribed polished pink granite stone, and placed flush with the ground near the southwest corner of the city hall building near the parking lot. It is due to be opened 99 years and 5 months after being placed.
The marker is inscribed:
