This bell is displayed at the edge of the schoolyard at the Manti Elementary School. Historically, it was houses in the Manti Old Red Schoolhouse at 65 South First West. It is currently displayed at 100 South First West. The plaque that is attached to it base includes a picture of the Old Red Schoolhouse, and reads:
Manti's Old Red Schoolhouse was located at 65 South, First West 1894-1936. Its Schoolhouse bell was forged in 1892 and was originally used in the one-room rock, North Ward Schoolhouse. Bell tower erected 1989.
