This group of menhirs is located in an oak grove. They make up part of a group of megalithic monuments on the Cauria plateau about 15 kilometers south of the village of Sartene. The site is reachable by car although the road is a little rough. Take the D48 which leaves the N196 south of Sartene. Then look for the signs. At N41° 33.787' E8° 54.639' keep left on the D48a. The last 900m is by foot.
The visit requires climbing rudimentary ladders over fences used to contain livestock which will be difficult for elderly or persons with reduced mobility. Bring your own food and water as there are no facilities. There is no entry fee to visit this site.
This location is very peaceful and you are quite likely to find yourself alone among these ancient stones.
