Parkview Field is a new minor league baseball stadium in Fort Wayne, IN. It opened in spring 2009. It is the home to Single-A Fort Wayne TinCaps, a take off of former Fort Wayne native, Johnny Appleseed's use of a pan for a hat.
The field is located just on the south edge of the main downtown area. The address is 1301 Ewing St, but a main entrance to the field is off of Jefferson Blvd, which enters into the outfield area. It was built as a major renovation project for Harrison Square and cost slightly more than $30 Million to build.
With the stadium being a major part of a city park, the stadium is open to the general public to walk in at times when there is not a game.
