These three signs are located in a lake overlook area that is provided by Parks Canada, and provide interesting information and photos of the quickly reducing herd of Caribou in the Jasper National Park, and how you can help monitor them.
The signs will provide the answer to these questions and others:
How many caribou are in Jasper National Park? What can you do to help increase their numbers? How can you assist in tracking the Caribou numbers? Where else can you see Caribou? How do climate change and wolves affect the Caribou? What is the size comparison of a caribou to moose, deer, elk?
In addition to the flora and fauna signs, you can learn a little about geology, as there is also a fourth sign, about the disappearing lake.
