This is, quite simply, one of the top diamonds in the world. Initially laid out in the late 1950s, when the grandchildren of the dairy owner wanted a ball field, it soon gained popularity with the local little league. In addition to the normal baseball games, a tournament for softball was added. This grew to eventually become the Little League Softball world Series. Dugouts, grandstands, lights and an electric scoreboard was added. The original field was kept for softball, and two baseball fields were added to the north.
