This beautiful stone church just happens to be the church that my family attended when I was but knee high to a grasshopper.

Col. Edwin L. Drake (of oil fame) served as the church's first Warden and Treasurer and his wife Laura sang in the choir.

If you get the chance to go inside you really should so you can check out the awesome stained glass windows. My favorite is the one at the Baptismal Fountain over to the right after going inside.

This was the first actual church building to be built in town and at the time it was in the exact center of the city.
