Der neue Helikopter Laneplatz steht vor dem Haupteingang des Uni-Klinikums Aachen auf einem 15m hohen Sockel. Über einen Schrägaufzug werden die Patienten direkt in die Notaufnahme und die anliegenden Operationssäle transportiert. Ein abstrakter Anbau an ein ohnehin schon auffälliges Gebäude!
