Named in honor of local US Navy Corpsman Robert Nathaniel Martens who died in Iraq in 2005, The Nathan Martens Arizona Memorial was created to give Honor and Memorial to Arizona’s fallen heroes of the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. It is located near the main entry of the San Tan Mountain Regional Park, south of the town of Queen Creek, Arizona.
