The "Weathervane" pattern is an easy design with just squares and half square triangles. Around a central square (on in this case the hourglass) are four house shaped pieces point out the principle directions. The four corners then feature "flying geese" of two triangles sewn point to point.
Quilt block in on end of Jefferson City Senior Center and is best viewed from Cedar Avenue.
