The city hall is on Strand Way. The buildings back faces the San Diego Bay. The front faces the main throughway. The new city hall was dedicated in 2005. The building has a simple and clean look with paneled sides. Above the main entrance is the words "city hall" Located next to the park is a seaside park and beach.
Coronado is an affluent city located across the bay from San Diego. Its 2010 population was 24,697. The city is connected to San Diego via a bridge. It's also connected to Imperial Beach via a thin strip of land. Even though the city is known locally as an island, it's technically a peninsula.
