Mount Utsayantha fire tower is outside the village of Stamford and overlooks the "Queen of the Catskills." It's a wonderful location for views and other things -- such as a picnic, photography, exploring and more. The road up can be rough, but take your time and you'll be fine.
The tower is open and can be climbed to the top. Take your time and enjoy! (PS -- it can cool on top!)
