Here were the ruins of the Corkstown Geodetic Observatory.

Things have changed a lot since 2013. Fence has been fixed. Animals are at pasture. Ruins of geodetic observatory are gone. The land is still public (National Captial Commission) but it should now be treated like private property.
CAUTION: you will pass a bee farm on en route. I am waymarking only three of at least five benchmarks which were here.
