Located on Dumplin Valley Road (north of I-40 between Exits 212 and 207), this quilt block is on the barn of the Messamore family. The block pattern is a complex variation of a pinwheel in solid red, yellow, green, and blue as painted over in New Market, TN. The blue triangles form the sawtooth pieces.
There is no real good pullover place to view the quilt block, so just slow down to snap a visit photo.
