The Western Massachusetts Police Memorial consists of a central monument flanked by four tablets. It is dedicated to all western Massachusetts law officers killed in the line of duty.
The central monument has an image of a Roman Centurion with the words Requiescat In Pace Centurio (Rest In Peace Centurions). The granite tablet has the inscription: In Memory Of All Western Massachusetts Law Officers Killed In The Line Of Duty
The outermost tablets are currently blank. The inner left tablet has 20 plaques and the inner right tablet has 17 plaques for a total of 37 plaques, one for each police officer who died in the line of duty.
