Station Kalmthout lies along Railway Line #12 in Heide-Kalmthout.
The construction is a Model 1893 R10, inauguration was in 1911 (Train-stops however since january 3rd, 1897). Small part of it is still in use for Railroad (one window for ticket-sale) but rest is used by Restaurant/Café.
This station is also the home of the famous Suske & Wiske comic heroes (UK = Bob & Bobette / US = Spike & Suzy) and a special album has been dedicated to this Railway Station for its 100th birthday.
