The town of Samut Songkhram, capital of the central Thai province of the same name, is situated on the Mae Klong River. Of interest, further north, this river was the site of the famous 'Bridge over the River Kwai' of World War Two. Near the town centre, near the rail terminus, is a small ferry office. There were no signs I could read, but I am fairly certain that the ferries using this port service local destinations up and down the river, with perhaps the occasional larger ferry from up the river.
Body of water served: Mae Klong River.

Most likely to the neighbouring province of Ratchaburi.
