The Kinsmen Park is at the center of Caledonia. Stretching from the Caledonia Bridge nearly all the way to the Highway 6 By-Pass. The park offers beautiful views of the Grand River, the Caledonia bridge and the Caledonia Dam.
The park is home to the Haldimand Tourist Office, tennis courts, the Aaron & Devin Koocher Memorial Skatepark and baseball diamond. The Caledonia Dam often has fishermen nearby.
The park was briefly home to "The Caboose", a traditional ice cream and hot dog stand inside a train caboose. This has since been moved north to the train station.
Finally the park is home to Caledonia's Canada Day festivities. Starting in the morning with the Lions Club pancake breakfast. The parade goes down past the park along Argyle St. After that people go into the park for food, face painting, kids activities, music and vendors. After dusk people are treated to an amazing fireworks display on the Grand.
