Das bewegliche Kunstwerk des Berliner Bildhauers Hein Sinken entstand Anfang der 70er Jahre. Ganz und gar aus Edelstahl hergestellt, bewegen sich die einzelnen Halbkugeln, angetrieben durch den Wind, wie Rotoren um die eigene Achse und erinnern an arbeitende Maschinenteile. Kunst und Technik sind hier eine interessante Verbindung eingegangen.
Das Kunstwerk steht in der Balgebrückstraße / Ecke Wilhelm-Kaisen-Brücke in Bremen - Mitte. Ursprünglich befand es sich auf dem Pausenhof der Gesamtschule West, Lissaer Straße, in Bremen -Gröpelingen. 2003 wurde es durch die Verrückungs-Aktion "Moving the City" an seinen jetzigen Standort verlagert.

The moveable artwork from Hein Sinken was formed in the 1970's. The hemispheres are made out of high-grade steel and rotate around theirself. It reminds of working machine parts.
The artwork is located in the Balgebrückstraße at the Wilhelm-Kaisen-Brücke in Bremen-Mitte. Some years ago the work plastic was on the playground of a school in Bremen-Gröpelingen. 2003 it has been moved to its current location.
