The memorial identifies the branches of the military to honor each of them.
The gardens are each designed to evoke the specific colors of the flags for each branch of service. The gardens will emerge through a succession of color from spring through fall each year and will provide a beautiful place for reflection on the sacrifices made by so many veterans before.

Description of Memorial: The memorial is located on "the green" in the center of Newton, NJ (the county seat of Sussex County). The memorial is an 8 foot disc on the gound that has a 3 legged steel bell tower directly over the disc. Around the structure is a couple of granite blocks listing names of donors that are attached to a bench. Around the cement walway are small gardens with names of different brnaches of the military recognized.
