A blue plaque commemorating the almshouses that were built here in the 17c. There were nine originally but now only six of them remain.

The plaque reads:-

The Nine Houses
Of the original nine
Almshouses, built in the mid
17th century, only six remain.
These were restored in 1969.
The parish boundary marker
on the facade refers
to the parished of
St Michael and St Olave.
