This eternal flame was an Eagle Scout Service Project conceived by Alexander R. Humphrey. The monument became a reality through the efforts of the Lawrenceburg community. It was dedicated on May 28, 2007 and is located on the east side of the many military headstones in Greendale Cemetery. I discovered this flame while geocaching near the area. It is a beautiful tribute to the service men and women who gave their lives for our country.
