A rare structure of it's kind in Indonesia. When I took the picture in 2007, it still operated, but there was already a new steel truss bridge structure under construction in the proximity. It's surrounded by rural area with fresh air worth to visit.

Built by Dutch on 30 November 1940, the bridge located at a small village Lobu, Central Sulawesi. The bridge spanned east-west is at the main route of Trans Sulawesi, connected Bunta to Luwuk, about 600 Km from Palu, the capital city of Central Sulawesi. I'm optimistic this awesome bridge would attract more people to take actions on conserving it, and later many visitors come, and at the end there would be many economic benefit for the community live there.
Current Condition of Bridge: Still in a good condition, family car & small truck can pass through, but some part of the tin roof at the west side, already damage.
