Located off of Lake Arrowhead Road north of Myrtle Beach. The 1206 foot commercial pier is associated with a RV campground. Costs $2 for parking (free if you walk in from the beach). Just walking on the pier is $1 (free for 12 years) - up to a marked line. Not pets (dogs) allowed on the pier.
Fishing pass is $8.50, $4 for 12 years and under $4 - which includes state fishing permit fee. Fishing rod can be rented. The website link below appears to have a monthly fishing contest. There is a "bragging board" with photos showing 5+ pound catches.
Hours are typically 6AM-midnite in the summer hours and 8AM-8PM in winter.
