The upper Greenwich Stairway on Telegraph Hill in San Francisco runs from Montgomery Street to The Coit Tower parking lot.
This top of stairway can be found near the road entrance to the Coit Tower parking lot. The whole stairway is made bricks laid in cement. It winds down the hillside through gardens and several landings. The bottom is the stairway has a large brick designed wall and drops onto Montgomery Street near Julius Castle.
Once you reach the bottom, turn right on Montgomery Street, bear left at the V in the road and look for the the Lower Greenwich Stairway, which continues down to Sansome Street.
