This bandshell is located in the center of the park around castle Schönau in Bad Säckingen. This is the location of the famous novel "The Trumpeter of Säckingen" by German author Joseph Victor von Scheffel. The castle itself is now a museum that has one of Europe's largest collection of trumpets. As far as I know this bandshell does not have a special name at least there was no sign and in all documentations it is just called "the bandshell in the park".
In this surrounding it is quite obvious that this bandshell is still in regular use, while many others I've seen are mainly abandoned. In summer there are many concerts in different musical styles. It is no surprise that there are more trumpets involved than somewhere else, often brass bands or marching bands, but also classical music and jazz.
When I visited the place the was a brass concert going on. So I could not get the coordinates directly in front without disturbing. I took them close to the left front corner.
