The Grange is a large house opposite the church in Cottesbrooke. It was built in three phases, the central three came first followed by the east wing of three more bays. Lastly came the west wing of two bays. The four stacks are on the central and easterly builds. The house has been divided into six apartments.

Each tall stone stack is a triple chimney of square section, but rotated 45°, and built on a rectangular base.
