There are few of the usual park facilities here, except for the small gazebo. The building of this park was an extensive project of community volunteers, and a good summary of it is found on the town web page. Frank Lyman Park:
"On Saturday the 15 of July, 2000 the Pittsfield Historical Society Dedicated Pittsfield's newest park named in honor of Frank Lyman. This park was designed/created by a group of volunteers from the town of Pittsfield. This park could not have been created without the support of the citizens of Pittsfield and the many organizations who contributed time and finances.
The Chairman of the Park Committee was Larry Berkson, the President of the Pittsfield Historical Society. The stone work in this park was the work of Master Stone Mason Daniel Schroth. Raymond Webber III was in charge of building the gazebo."
