This is the chain ferry that crosses the River Avon between Evesham and Hampton, and means that pedestrians can avoid the long detour round to the bridge.

The ferry works using human muscle power to pull on the chain to get from one side to the other. There is a café/restaurant on the Evesham side of the ferry.

The coordinates above are for the Evesham side of the river.
