Water vulcanoes were one of the most popular features of the Expo-98.
When the heat was getting too high nothing like a water eruption to cool down.
These magnificent fountains shaped like vulcanoes were built along he "Alameda dos Oceanos"(Ocean Boulevard) in the west part of the Park.
There are six along the park and they continue to give freshness and pleasant moments to all. Nobody stays indifferent to these coloured cones that expel water with lots of noise just like a normal vulcanoe.
The two canals by the side represent the sea waves. If we look closer we will see that it simulates a wave like the waves in arriving at the beach (Or a small Tsunami). Without any doubt one of the most remarkable souvenirs of the Expo98 well worthing a visit.
