In Borth is promoted even today salt. Unlike the coal industry, the salt is mined in chambers, while maintaining safety pillars and ceilings are to be secured with tie rods. Only a small portion of the salt in the food sector is determined, by far the larger part goes to the chemical industry, which include salt for the production is required of glass, detergents, plastics, coatings and adhesives. But even salt for icy winter is here and others obtained exported to Scandinavia.
