This sculpture in is a very nice park (not enough trees but they are working on it) that doesn't get much use except for special events. One of those events is the annual (since 1990) Honey Bee Festival. In 2005 the Honey Bee Festival will be held Oct. 1 & 2. This is a held to benefit the Robertsdale Fire Department and, according to the Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce, will feature honey produced by Baldwin County beekeepers, honey sales, live honeybee demonstrations, beeswax crafters making candles and beeswax crafts, food vendors, smoked Boston butt plates and burgers, sausage, Indian roasted corn, arts and crafts, face painting, music, and fun!
In addition to the honey bee sculpture there is a very nice 9/11 memorial and a plaque dedicating the walking and bike trail in this park.
