This old cross in the churchyard of St.John the Baptist's has only recenly been uncovered.

This is a grade II listed object, probably mid C15th in date. It is made of limestone ashlar and has the stump of the shaft in a square socket and is mounted on square base of 2 steps.

The church history pamphlet says it has only recently been revealed, but the listing was made in 1985.
