The Arco dei Gavi is a Roman triumphal arch. The arch originally straddled the main road into town, but was moved to one side of the road after restoration work in 1933.

The Arco dei Gavi is a Roman triumphal arch. This originally straddled the main road into town, but was moved to one side of the road after restoration work in 1933.
the original arch dates back to the 1st century AD. Napoleon's troops damaged the arch during their occupation of Italy. The arch has now been restored to its former glory.
