This is an old railway bridge converted to a road bridge due to the building of a new railway bridge a few kms away.
This bridge crosses the "Ribeira da Marateca", a small river that goes into the Sado Estuary and conects Aguas de Moura to the "Herdade do Zambujal", a private farm where you can find an interpretative center from the Sado Estuary Reservation. Also in this farm you can find a set of buildings of interest because of it´s architecture.
Today the bridge is used only by cars and Pedestrians.
The given coordinates are from the bridge. You can drive your car to the bridge (its a dirt road but is suitable for all cars) or walk leaving the main road (N10) in this location N 38° 34.590 W008° 44.648 .
