oak tree, 900 years old, in Eisolzried - Exceptional Trees on Waymarking.com

This oak tree is standing in a little village called Eisolzried in the south of Bavaria, about 25 km north of Munich in Germany.
Silly people wanted to destroy this beautiful tree by fire, but the tree survived and is as beautiful as before. Only inside of the tree you can still smell the burning.
