Diese Uhr, welche die welt-größte Kuckuksuhr ist, befindet sich in Schonach, im Uhren-Park Eble in Schonachbach. Sie misst 4.50 x 4.50 Meter, hat eine Gesamtmasse von nicht weniger als sechs Tonnen und brauchte 5 Jahre Bauzeit. Der Kuckuck hat eine Länge von 4.60 Metern und eine Masse von 150 kg. Für eine Gebühr von 2 Euro pro Erwachsenen lässt sich das Innere der Uhr besichtigen. Wir (und die Kinder) denken, das Geld war gut investiert. Zu jeder Stunde und halben Stunde kann der riesige Kuckuck auch von aussen beobachtet werden.
This clock which is the world's biggest is to be found in Schonach, in the Clock Park Eble in Schonachbach. It measures 4.50 x 4.50 m, has a total weight of not less than six tons and it took five years to complete it. The cuckoo has a length of 4.60 m and a weight of 150 kg. For an entrance fee of 2 Euros per grown up, you can see the giant gears and wheels in the inside - we (and the kids) thought this money was well spent. Every hour and every half-hour, the giant cockoo can be seen from the outside.
